What Candid is
Candid is an AI-powered practice tool that helps you prepare for difficult conversations. It is not a therapy service, a legal service, or a crisis intervention tool. The roleplay sessions are for practice purposes only — they do not constitute professional advice of any kind.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use Candid. You agree not to use Candid to practice conversations intended to manipulate, deceive, or harm others.
What we provide
We provide access to the Candid platform on a subscription or free-trial basis. We do our best to keep the service running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update or change features over time.
Payments
Paid plans are billed in advance on an annual basis. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied. Cancel anytime from your settings page.
Your content
The conversations you practice in Candid are yours. We do not read them, sell them, or use them to train AI models. See our Privacy page for full details on what we store and what we don't.
Limitations
Candid is a practice tool, not a guarantee. We are not responsible for the outcomes of real conversations you have after using Candid. Use your own judgment about when and how to apply what you practice.
Ending your account
You can delete your account and all your data at any time from your Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
